Rebecca Murphy

Rebecca’s experience as an exchange student to Denmark while still in high school launched her career in international education. Later, as an undergraduate student, she had the opportunity to study in the Czech Republic, where she also tutored ESL students. Rebecca spent two years living and teaching in Poland as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) volunteer with the Peace Corps. Rebecca has held positions in admissions, advising, and credential evaluation services for more than two decades.
She currently volunteers at The Literacy Center, in Attleboro, MA, while conducting research on the use of foreign credential evaluations as a pathway to greater economic opportunities for underemployed immigrants in the region as part of her doctoral studies at Northeastern University.
